How It’s Work : SMC Auto Drain Functional and Operation

This time I would like to share about Auto Drain operational to discharge automatically water inside compressed air receiver tank.This equipment is very important to remove 80% of water contain in compressed air and to ensure our compressed air is dry and clean.Why we need the clean and dry compressed air in our system?The main reason is to ensure our pneumatic equipment or instrument fully operated and pro long a life span.If water contaminated our compress air system,piping or equipment that operated with compress air will rusty,jammed and clog with dirt.It’s can cause a breakdown and it loss to our operation cost.

Sensor classification schemes range from very simple to the complex. Depending on the classification purpose, different classification criteria may be selected. Here, we offer several practical ways to look at the sensors.

All sensors may be of two kinds: passive and active. A passive sensor does not need any additional energy source and directly generates an electric signal in response to an external stimulus; that is, the input stimulus energy is converted by the sensor into the output signal.
