How It Works
- Enter the Density of the fluid in kg/m³.
- Enter the Flow Velocity in m/s.
- Enter the Characteristic Length (e.g., pipe diameter) in meters.
- Enter the Dynamic Viscosity in Pa·s (e.g., water is about 0.001 Pa·s at room temperature).
- Click “Calculate.”
- The script computes the Reynolds number.
- It also displays whether the flow is Laminar (Re < 2300), Transitional (2300 ≤ Re ≤ 4000), or Turbulent (Re > 4000).
