Selecting electric glove size

In electrical job scopes,PPE ( personal protection equipment ) is a one of important thing when perform a tasks to avoid an electric shock.It can cause the serious fatal and injury even death.

This time i want share some information how to selecting an electric glove size correctly.It important because when we perform an electrical task,we need a comfort glove to handle electrical equipment or device correctly.

If gloves size is too small it can cause a uncomfortable and cause hand fatigue or injured.when you select hand protection that is too large, a gloves getting caught into moving parts of machinery or snagged on jagged edges. A glove that is too loose also can cause uncomfortable when perform a task.

 

How to get the correct size?

1) First you must measure around the hand with measuring tape.Selected your dominant hand.The dominant hand will be the right if you are right-handed and left if you are left-handed.

2) Use a imperial unit ( inch ).You can relate the inch measurement of your hand directly to the numerical size listed for the glove.For example,if the measurement taken is 10 inches, then you would select a size 10 or L of gloves.

3) If the gloves come in letters sizes such as S, M, L, XS and XL these can be easily translated to a numerical size for selection.

XS = 7 inch

S = 7 1/2 inch to 8 inch

M = 8 1/2 inch to 9 inch

L = 9 1/2 inch to 10 inch

XL = 10 1/2 inch to 11 inch
